About the event

Dan Hahne has a BFA degree from University College London and an MFA from Boston University. His career has spanned over 40 years in the HVAC industry, beginning as an estimator for the Norman S. Wright Co. SW in 1985 before transitioning into outside sales. In 2000, Dan joined Air Specialty Products as an outside salesperson and in 2008 he assumed the role of sales engineer, becoming ASP’s proponent and educator for high-performance HVAC systems. In 2016, he took a position with Varitec Solutions, where he currently serves in the capacity of Director of High-Performance HVAC Solutions, becoming a regional resource for sustainable products, equipment, the importance of indoor air quality, and innovative applications for conventional and sustainable system designs. In July of 2024, Dan was selected to serve as an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer.
